Barter Works was founded in 2005, and is a local trade exchange that provides networking for local businesses.
We are a third party record keeper that keeps
track of all transactions. Any member can access their account with a secure password in our system. They can see purchases, sales and their current balance.
When you barter with Barter Works, you use trade credits rather than cash. If a member sells $500 of a service or product, the member will have $500 of trade credit that can be used within Barter Works for other products for services.
Barter Works is a member of the International Barter Alliance, a DoBarter on Line service. Your membership in Barter Works offers you access to goods and services from ten's of thousands of members in exchanges worldwide.
To join Barter Works, there is a one-time sign up fee of $300. There is a 5% cash fee for the buyer and the seller when a transaction transpires. There is also an annual fee of $75 cash and $75 trade.
In addition, if you refer a new member to Barter Works, you will receive $100 trade in your account when he becomes a member.
Barter Works has bi-monthly get togethers at various locations to help businesses network with one another. It is an opportunity to meet members
of your local community face to face. You can also bring a new member to the meetings who is interested in joining Barter Works. Our members always have a good time at our get togethers.
